The brand new SciCam Pro camera, built in collaboration with scientific camera experts QImaging, incorporates a number of features to help overcome the demanding requirements of electrophysiology experiments.

The camera contains a highly-sensitive 1.4 MP cooled CCD chip, with a 75% peak quantum efficiency, to detect even the weakest signals and deliver superb brightfield and fluorescence images.

Fanless but regulated cooling of the sensor through a heat-sink enables completely vibration free imaging of your sample allowing for delicate patch clamp experiments.

An integrated grounding point allows you to electrically isolate your camera and minimise noise during your recordings.

Exceptionally fast pixel digitisation delivers fast frame rates for smooth visualisation during electrode positioning.

Intelligent Quantification uses advanced FPGA algorithms to correct defective pixels, producing pristine images.

All of these features come together to make a powerful, cost-effective and versatile camera perfect for capturing images while simultaneously recording electrophysiological phenomena.

The camera also comes packaged with QImaging’s intuitive Ocular software, packed with features to help you visualise your experiments and record your imaging data.
