Job description
A full-time postdoctoral fellow position is available in the lab of Dr. Skyler Jackman at the Vollum Institute at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland Oregon. The Jackman lab studies the molecular mechanisms for short-term synaptic plasticity, in the goal of discovering how rapid forms of plasticity help the brain process information for cognitive functions.
Applicants with expertise in neuroscience, patch-clamp electrophysiology, biophysics, cell and molecular biology, or computational methods are highly desirable; however, the lab is open to enthusiastic and motivated applicants keen to explore an unfamiliar field.
