The 400 x 200mm UMS provides 50mm of travel in both the X and Y axes, allowing you to roam the largest of samples. An optional Z axis focus control is available. Speed can be controlled down to 1 micron per second, making this motorised stage more accurate than any manually adjusted system. An ergonomically designed joystick or control cube, working together with the ultra-low noise motor, makes the UMS the perfect complement to any upright or inverted microscope from Olympus, Nikon, Zeiss or Leica.
Many samples have several areas of interest. The Scientifica UMS can store and recall up to 50 positions in chronological order so you can roam and then return to a previous site. The versatility makes the UMS suitable for many imaging and physiological experiments.

Scientifica have developed a range of control hardware, fully compatible with all motorised products, carefully designed to be simple to setup and intuitive to use straight out of the box. Using the Windows-based Linlab software supplied, the user can then further personalise the control devices if required.
