The PatchStar; our customers journey – an eight-year montage!

The PatchStar has been used across a wealth of research applications. These include Dr Christophe Bernard's Epilepsy research recordings from thin distal dendrites to Professor Don Martin's objective of creating stable, nanostructure devices to produce alternative energy sources for medical devices (such as pacemakers).

"It was great that Matt Kemp and Mark Johnson were so keen to develop a manipulator that suited the needs of electrophysiologists. That responsiveness to the scientific community has made the Patchstar and many of Scientifica's other products so successful." -
Dr Jack Mellor (University of Bristol & owner of the first PatchStar)
