New Year, New Chapter: Reetu Santa Begins as Managing Director

Happy New Year from the Scientifica Team!

As we begin 2026, we’re pleased to confirm that Reetu Santa has officially taken on the role of Managing Director at Scientifica, following a carefully planned handover.

Matt Kemp continues with the business in his new role as Business Development Director, where his experience, industry relationships, and passion for developing people remain a huge asset to the company.

As we look ahead to the year, we are grateful for the continued trust of the researchers and partners we work with worldwide. We look forward to continuing those relationships, building new collaborations, and sharing exciting product developments soon…

Reflecting on the Year Ahead, Reetu said:

Get to Know Reetu

Reetu graduated from Brunel University with an MSc in Advanced Manufacturing Systems and began her career as a Manufacturing Engineer at a major defence contractor within the nuclear industry. Over 13 years she held a variety of manufacturing and operational roles, gaining both technical expertise and in-depth management experience in a highly regulated environment.

She joined Scientifica as Production Manager in 2016 and was promoted to Operations Director in 2020. In 2021, she also became Managing Director of Korvus Technology, overseeing its transition into the Judges group following acquisition. After successfully establishing processes at Korvus, she made the decision to focus full-time on Scientifica, continuing to build on the company’s strengths and opportunities.

Looking ahead, Reetu is focused on growth at every level - from developing people and strengthening customer partnerships, to enhancing productivity and launching high-quality new products that enable vital research. She is particularly motivated by the knowledge that Scientifica’s instruments play a role in advancing research that could one day improve patient care and outcomes.
