The Scientifica engineering team, based at Maidenhead, recently headed to the East Berkshire College Awards where they were honoured with the Stand Out Achievement Award for "Employer of the year" in the Motor Vehicle and Engineering category.
Peter Knights accepted the award from Ben and the team are absolutely delighted with their award. Peter Knights said
"We were really honoured to receive such a recognition. It's through investing carefully in our staff that we can get the best from them and that way, everyone wins. The trophy will take pride of place in the workshop."
Ben Saunders said
"One of the biggest things I've learnt is that the word impossible is just an opinion. Nothing is impossible. Many times I thought of giving up during my journeys, but I persisted and succeeded. Everyone has the potential to achieve great things and reach their own north poles!"
