Scientifica Takes on 365 Miles for Mental Health Awareness Week
Miles for our Minds
To support this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week (MHAW), the Scientifica Global Team took on the challenge of completing 365 miles in 2 weeks (4-18 May). Why 365 miles? Mental health should be a focus every day, 365 days a year, and we wanted to raise awareness of this.
The theme for this year's MHAW is anxiety. Anxiety is a common emotion that affects us all, but it can easily spiral into a mental health issue. Regular exercise has been shown to have a positive effect on managing anxiety and improving overall mental health. That's why we wanted to take on this challenge—to raise awareness and promote the positive impact of exercise on mental well-being and hopefully inspire you to get involved too.
So, how did we do? Take a look…

Remember, even though our official challenge has come to an end, that doesn't mean the miles have to! Take a moment to pause, breathe in some fresh air, and allow yourself the much-needed downtime. And always keep in mind that the Mental Health Foundation is there to lend a helping hand, providing a wealth of invaluable resources, helplines, and support options to assist not only you but also those around you.
