To meet these needs, we developed the SciLumi - White NIR. A compact, dual-mode LED light source that combines visible white light for eyepiece viewing and 775 nm near-infrared (NIR) illumination for camera-based workflows such as IR-DIC, all in a single, purpose-built unit.

Designed specifically for electrophysiology setups, SciLumi - White NIR offers independent brightness control, and simple one-handed switching between light modes—eliminating the need for separate lamp houses, blocking filters, or manual adjustments that risk disturbing your recording. Its fanless, LED-based design ensures ultra-low noise, sustainable performance, making it ideally suited for sensitive electrophysiological recordings across a range of experimental models.
