Job description

The Gremel Lab has multiple fully-funded openings for Postdoctoral trainees at the University of California San Diego. We are seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to investigate and broaden our mechanistic understanding of decision-making and/or its disruption in mouse models of Alcohol Use Disorder. Our current focus takes a technically integrative approach to examine the behavioural, computational, and molecular mechanisms involved.

The candidate

Applicants must possess a PhD degree in Psychology, Neuroscience or other relevant discipline, at the time of appointment. Candidates should be highly motivated scientists with strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently. Applicant experience in whole cell physiology, computational approaches and/or neural mechanisms of mouse behaviour is preferred.
