The Positions
The group of Prof. Mario Prsa at the University of Fribourg (prsalab.org) is looking for PhD candidates to conduct their doctoral thesis work on neural mechanisms of forelimb sensorimotor adaptation and/or proprioceptive sensory processing. The candidate will use state-of-the-art behavioral, optogenetic, two-photon microscopy and electrophysiology techniques to study the underlying neuronal circuits in the mouse brain.
The Candidate
Candidates should be highly motivated, have excellent analytical, experimental and writing skills and hold a degree in neuroscience, engineering/physics, biology or a related discipline. The working contract is for 4 years (on a yearly renewal basis) and planned to start in Summer/Fall 2020.
