My journey at Scientifica: Chloe Emmerson, Marketing & Communications Manager
Chloe, Scientifica's Marketing and Communications Manager, explains how she has progressed and what she enjoys most about working at Scientifica.
What was your first role at Scientifica and when did you start?
I started working at Scientifica in February 2015 as the Events and Database Executive, which was a new role in the company.
How have you progressed?
During my three and a half years at Scientifica I have gone from Events and Database Executive to Events and Campaigns Manager and then to Marketing and Communications Manager. In my current role I manage a team and head up the marketing department.
Where do you see yourself in the future?
I would like to stay in the role I am in and develop the team to help them progress. I eventually want to help the marketing grow at Scientifica by creating a bigger team.
What do you like about working at Scientifica?
I like the culture at Scientifica. The people in the company are very friendly and everyone gets on. I enjoy that I am able to travel within my role. I like the fact that the company supports and appreciates marketing, as a lot of companies don’t invest in or support marketing. Scientifica are fully behind the marketing team which is great for us. The flexible working hours is a great benefit and really helps with the work life balance.
What is your greatest achievement/proudest moment?
My greatest achievement is becoming the Marketing and Communications Manager. The marketing team work extremely hard which helps ensure we meet all of our targets and goals. I am proud of how far they have come in the past few months. They are experts in what they do and I look forward to continuing to work with them.
